Flake ice enters the mixing process with a large contact surface and absorbs heat through latent melting; the storage and delivery unit uses an ice rake and conveying mechanism to keep ice loose and continuously available; the water chiller lowers the temperature of mixing water, reducing the total heat load from the source.
